Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE
This is the heavyweight of track day vehicles, the Camaro ZL1 1LE. The 650-horsepower brute has an adjustable big wing suspension that weighs around two tons. Beyond its size, the Camaro proved itself to be incredibly nimble. Its large sticky tires and editable suspension, as well as its downforce of 300-pounds extending from the splitter and wing go a long way. Then there is the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine. The ZL1 1LE was taken to the Nurburgring in 2017 by GM as a fierce competitor. In the end, a 7:16.0 lap time was clocked, making the ZL1 1LE the speediest Camaro to step into the ‘Ring.
